Please review the timetable below as the deadlines for New Organizations and Returning Organizations vary.

*NOTE: As stated above, after the initial submission of a full proposal, there will be a dialogue period in which the proposal is reviewed. Additional information may be requested. Applicants will be able to revise and resubmit. Please refer to Application Process for more information.
Basic Eligibility Requirements
- Rivendell Stewards’ Trust Partners with individuals and ministries we know and with whom we have had personal contact and experience.
- The organization must be a charitable, nonprofit entity, not a private foundation, with tax-exempt status under Section 501 (c) 3 of the IRS code. You will be asked to provide your letter from the IRS should you be asked to submit a full application for funding. In order to complete an application for funding without a 501 (c) 3 status, you will need to establish a relationship with a fiscal sponsor who will accept funds on your behalf.
- Program fits within one or more of the Foundation’s current open funding priorities:
a) Leadership Development & Scholarship
b) Evangelistic Outreach and Care Ministries. - Organization follows the electronic application process.
Ineligible Organizations or Requests
- For-profit organizations
- Organizations whose primary purpose is lobbying or other activities prohibited by government 501 (c) 3 regulations,
- Individuals
- Project requests that equate to more than 50% of the organizational budget

Previously successful grant applications are eligible to apply for funding every 12 months. Example: if you were to apply during the Spring 2011 cycle and receive funding in Summer 2011, you are eligible to re-apply in Spring 2012.
