Guidelines for Submitting Proposals
 
 

PLEASE NOTE:

At this time we are only accepting proposals and synopses from those ministries we currently support. Only these ministries will be invited to submit for funding. This funding status will be in place indefinitely.

 
1. Submit a one to two page synopsis of the proposed project by July 1. In the synopsis respond to the following questions:

a. Describe the purpose of the project. What do you want to do?
b. In what ways does this project address a felt need in the context it is in?
c. What is the strategy for accomplishing this project?
d. How will you determine its success?
e. What is the grant amount you are asking for?
2. Once your project synopsis is reviewed, if it is determined to be of interest to the Trust and as funding allows, you will be invited to submit a full project proposal and/or asked for more information. Uninvited proposals will not be considered for funding.
3. Full proposals are due September 1st for funding for the following calendar year. Proposals received after September 1st will not be considered for funding. NOTE: Full Proposals are not applicable at this time for any ministry.
4. Full proposals should include the following:
a. Executive Summary
b. Full Project Description
c. Financials
i. Income and expense information for organization (current and for previous two years)
ii. Projected budget for project
d. Copy of the 501(c)3 tax exempt letter (Those not funded in the past)
e. Organizational information
i. Mission/vision statement
ii. Brief history of organization
iii. List of Board of Directors/Trustees
iv. List of current top ten donors, by name and amount (may list as anonymous but specify if foundation, individual etc.)
5. Submit one (1) unbound copy of the proposal. Please do not staple, bind or pad.
